22. Is product management a job or a skill?
Neither. It is a relationship. A product is a product manager’s child.
E.g. The fruit is to the tree, as the child is to a parent.
23. Should a product be commercialized?
Business commercializes. Product management builds and delivers.
E.g. The early bird finds the fruit. The later birds reap the harvest.
24. Is there a business without a product?
Yes. A business built on services and solutions.
E.g. The tree that bears fruits and flowers also gives shade and shelter to rest.
25. What is a service?
One that uses one or more products to meet an ongoing need.
E.g. The wind moves the pollens of the flowers to fertile grounds for growth.
26. What is a solution?
A combination of services that solve a problem.
E.g. The wind, water and sunshine combine in harmony so a garden can bloom.
27. Who is a user?
A user consumes the product, service or solution for a purpose.
E.g. The soulmate who made the garden with the one.
28. Who is a customer?
The customer is the one who pays the price and is also sometimes the user.
E.g. The soulmate who sacrificed much to be with the one.
